TUTOR PABLO MARINHO TAKES KINETIC CONTROL TO ECUADOR

18th March 2016

Tutor Pablo Marinho takes Kinetic Control to Ecuador. Invited to present lectures in KC & TPM topics, Pablo Marinho reports on the event and his first experience in Quito. He is already booked to return some three other times till the end of 2016 to present all new model courses from level 1 and 2.

Pablo explains in own words how the congress went...

"Last week I had the great pleasure to present a small piece of Kinetic Control and The Performance Matrix to the brilliant professionals of Ecuador. Hosted in a nice Quito's city centre hotel, the Congress received speakers from Ecuador, Brazil and Spain".

With increasing interest of Latin American countries (mainly Spanish speaking) on KC in last year, overcoming the language barrier has not been an option. With no translation available, it was quite a challenge for this Brazilian Portuguese speaking tutor. Yes, it was my first time presenting lectures in Spanish. Challenge excepted, challenge delivered! Although the word 'ejercicio' (exercise) requires a bit more of practice... It will be definitely the low threshold ejercicio of this month.

Between the topics presented

Lectures:

. Trapezius: clearing up the confusion (based in e-learning module available at MPS website); . Recurrent hamstring injuries in athletes; . Overview of The Performance Matrix system and the injury prevention & movement health specialist role in sports performance.

Quito is a beautiful city, with some amazing mountains, valleys and for that great view spots. This was a quick visit, and so, hope to be able to see more next time. A visit to some of the oldest Churches in Latin America got to my travel list.”

Pablo managed to squeeze in some sightseeing of the beautiful country and looks forward to returning to deliver more KC and TPM teaching in the future
